Johnny S has been a part-time WLKR personality since 2018. Johnny S grew up in Oak Harbor where there wasn’t much to do other than play outside and listen to the radio. That’s where his love for radio began. He would later attend Bowling Green State University where he would graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Audio and Radio Production. He is also interested in sounds effects and is an amateur Foley artist in his spare time. He also enjoys playing with his dogs, playing video games and trying new foods, especially fruits. He listens to most kinds of music but his favorite bands are Rise Against, Staind, and Stone Sour.
