Step Up For Soldiers 2025

95.3 WLKR is once again asking for your help in our 18th annual Step Up for Soldiers donation drive to support USO Ohio’s Care Package program!

The USO provides toiletry items to support service members throughout Ohio and the surrounding areas, such as National Guard members at their annual training at various sites.

In these locations, including Camp Garfield, Camp Grayling, and Camp Perry, access to necessities such as toothbrushes and shampoo can be limited, making these donations invaluable.

In addition to toiletries, the USO also provides individual snacks, including but not limited to jerky, gum, granola or protein bars, drink mixes, and chips, at USO Centers and training locations to offer a small but meaningful boost to morale for service members.

From now until December 20th, we ask for your help in donating at the following locations:

In Sandusky:

  • American Driving School
  • Erie County Veterans Service Office
  • Koch Doors and Windows
  • Tropical Smoothie Café

In Norwalk:

  • Battles Insurance
  • Schild’s IGA

In New London:

  • Firelands Electric Cooperative

In Marblehead:

  • Backyard Pickleball and Social Club
  • Marblehead Soap Company

In Wellington:

  • Small Town Eye Care

Jamie’s Carpet locations:

  • Sandusky, Amherst, and Elyria

Redwood Apartment locations:
