Jack Gibbons

Jack was born in Frederick, Maryland but later on moved to Vermilion, Ohio.

Following graduating from Vermilion High School, Jack attended Niagara University. Niagara University is located six miles south of Niagara Falls in Niagara Falls, New York and was established in 1856. It is one of three schools in the United States that follow the teachings and values of St. Vincent de Paul. Niagara University is when Jack got into radio by joining the on campus radio club (WNIA). When Jack was a part of WNIA he was a disc jockey and enjoyed the connection that music provides people, liked it so much that his senior seminar project was thinking of ways to try and get more listeners to tune in. Having a survey by asking people what genre they would like to hear the radio station play more of as well having a phone interview in the studio with an independent hip-hop artist are a couple of the tactics that were done for this project.

Jack graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in religious studies. After graduation Jack has worked retail and restaurants jobs, really enjoyed the time that he had at WNIA and wanted to get back into radio.

In his spare time Jack enjoys photography, watching sports and being outdoors.

Skillet, Lecrae, ACDC, and Guns N Roses are some of Jack’s favorites artists/ bands, excited to hear and get exposed to new music by working at the radio station. He is grateful to be a part of the radio ranch team.
